PROCEDURE
- 1. Put 2 eggs into the same 250 mL beakers. Pour 150mL of vinegar into the beaker until it cover the eggs. Leave it for 24 hours.
2. After 24 hours, carefully take out the eggs from the beaker.
Describe the appearance of the egg and record it in Data Table 1.
3. Measure the mass of each egg and record it in Data Table 2.
4. Submerge eggs with 150mL of plain water or desalinated water and honey into its own beaker. Label each beaker. Record the volume for each substance in Data Table 3.
5. Place egg1 into the 250mL beaker with plain or desalinated water and egg 2 into the beaker filled with honey.
6. Leave it for 24 hours
7. After 24 hours, remove the eggs from the beakers.
8. Watch the appearance of each egg and record it in Data Table 1
9. Measure the mass of each egg’s mass and record it in Data Table 2.
10. Measure the volume of liquid left in the beaker and record in Data Table 3.
11. Clean the beakers with water.
12. Pop the eggs with a toothpick and record what the liquid from inside of it looks like.
13. Take out everything in the beaker and clean it thoroughly.
